SDG Movement

The International Sustainability Movement for Agenda 2030 by Aspirant Learning aims to promote awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by involving students as changemakers in implementing SDGs. Through events, campaigns and summits across various cities in India, the movement aims to bring together multiple stakeholders to drive societal change and promote the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'. Agenda 2030 is an effort by the United Nations to improve our quality of living and sustain the planet for future generations. It will consist of 9 National rounds through which participants will qualify for the International Sustainability Conclave 2024.

The Gurgaon chapter of our SDG Movement was hosted by Shalom Groups of Schools from the 20th to the 23rd of July 2023. The summit witnessed a footfall of about 900+ participants and was headed by Mr. Danish Macknight and Mr, Vihan Saraswat. For classes 3-5, there were engaging events like a Speech Competition focusing on SDG 1 & 6 and a Poster Making Competition centered around SDG 11. Moving to classes 6-8, the Debatathon and a Quiz Tournament were the highlights. For older students (classes 9-12), the Moot Court designed for law enthusiasts and the Shark Tank event fostering entrepreneurship skills stood out. The Flagship Event, Shalom Model United Nations provided students from classes 6-12 with a comprehensive and immersive experience in global affairs and diplomacy.

SDG Summit Lucknow

The Lucknow chapter of our SDG Movement was hosted by Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Lucknow,  from 25th to 27th August 2023.  The event drew over 450 participants from 30+ schools spanning 3 cities and was headed by Mr. Aditya Gupta. For grades 3-5, the summit offered a professional speech competition and a best-out-of-waste competition. Classes 6-8 got the chance to participate in a poster-making competition and a writing cum speech competition. A social entrepreneurship event and a poster-making competition were in store for students from grades 9-12. To top it off we organised the summit’s flagship event, SAJS MUN 1.0. Mr. Priyank Rawat, renowned for founding SoupX and appearing on Shark Tank India Season 2,  acted as the chief guest for our summit.

SDG Summit Chandigarh

The Chandigarh chapter of our SDG Movement was hosted by Sacred Hearts School Chandigarh, from 13th to 15th October 2023. With over 900 participants from 80+ institutions and 9+ cities, SDG Summit Chandigarh has gone down in the books as one of the biggest educational events of Tricity. Headed by Ms. Khushi Jain, the summit was an amalgamation of 7 events. The summit consisted of two competitions for classes 3-5, namely the best out of waste and product presentation competitions. Classes 6-8 got the opportunity to engage in model-making and poster-making competitions and classes 9-12 treated themselves with a case study competition and a moot court competition. The seventh event of this summit, SHSMUN 2023 was its crowning jewel.

SDG Summit Bathinda

St Joseph's Convent School Bathinda hosted the Bathinda chapter of our SDG Movement from 2nd to 5th November 2023. Headed by Ms. Bhavika Dabur the summit with out-of-the-box events like Talent Hunt, Rhetoric Rumble, Great Debate, Moot Court and Speech competition, the summit catered to varying interests of students from classes 3-12. The flagship event, the SOLARIS MUN 2023 simulated nine vibrant committees and was one of the most successful conferences across Punjab.
